2012 “Warriors In Pink” Quilt To Be Presented To Camden Clark Medical Center
Quilt recognizes the Fight Against Breast Cancer during Breast Cancer Awareness Month
The Neighborhood Ford Store and West Virginia Komen for the Cure will unveil a 2012 “Warriors in Pink” quilt to be hung on permanent display at Camden Clark Medical Center. The quilt will provide hope to those battling the disease and serve as a reminder of the fight to defeat it. Every square of the hand-stitched quilt represents a story, and together they create a symbol of courage and the unified effort to beat breast cancer.
The unveiling will take place inside Camden Clark’s Medical Office Building B on October 2 nd at 10am. Launched in 2006, Fords national Warriors in Pink campaign recognizes the strength and courage necessary to deal with the everyday challenges of fighting breast cancer. To date, Ford has dedicated more than $110 million to the cause.
This was the fifth year for the Neighborhood Ford Store’s “Warriors in Pink” Quilt program. Neighborhood Ford Store is a group of 82 Ford dealers in southwest Pennsylvania, southeast Ohio and
the panhandles of Maryland and West Virginia.
